Howdy
So lately, I have been super busy with classes and have had no time either to spend on the S30 or anything related to it except this weekend. This weekend I made a huge list of all that is required for my swap (already got one of the things "a Fuel pump") and also I partially dismantled my interior and put it all back. Throughout this amazing process; I cleaned out the floor, re sealed the insulation (rainy dayzz) and washed the Bride Zeta 2 gradation. All these fun things took my whole Saturday .. but I had nothing better to do anyways since I had a fever ha ha..
well anyways...
I'll tune out of here with a few of these magnificent S30's that have influenced me. I do not own any of the rights to these pictures except the ones of my car and have came across these either on forums or personal blogs of some awesome people. I hope you enjoy them.
Cheers.
Just another day ? or What ?

San Jose Mercury News : Hot Rods to Hybrids car show.
The other day turning pages of the newspaper, I came across the Mr. Roadshow section which had an add "Hot Rods to Hybrids car show". It was held at San Jose Mercury News Headquarters so I decided to head out there and finally drive my Z after a month or so. I did not have an amazing camera on me but I captured a few photos from my Iphone. Hope you enjoy! (Apologies for not so perfect pictures)
Mercedes Benz 300 SL (1954-1957) - Only 1400 Built. This was first time in my life seeing this vehicle in person and it was more than just amazing.
Those door's and that classy looks just took me away by surprise, I had no idea that I would have come across an amazing car like this here in San Jose.
This is an In-Line 6 producing 215 Horsepower 170 Ft/lb Torque and the top speed on this car was 162 Mph depending on the axle ratio.
Another car that took my by surprise, was this Jaguar Mark VII (1951-1956) only 30,969 produced. Just look at that shine and originality in this magnificent vintage luxury vehicle. Who ever owns this car has very well maintained it. I am definitely very lucky to come across this rare and see it in person.
It is operated by an L6 engine producing 160 - 190 Bhp. Fine example of British motor industry. What's a car show without a classic 1st Gen Corvette Stingray. This car was very well maintained and one of the cars I would like to own in my lifetime.
This amazing Corvette Stingray was hanging out of sight in the rear parking lot. What a beauty this car is, I definitely have to show my buddy Raul this picture since he also a beautiful 1973 Corvette Stingray.
There were many Shelby Cobra's but I am not very much of an expert telling which one was a replica or real. I am pretty sure these two were original Cobras and pristine condition. Thanks to these guys since they started these cars for us and it made my car sound look like a dying cat..
I am tuning out on you all with this last picture of this beautiful red Cobra. I hope you guys enjoyed these few cars and facts. Thank you for looking and tune in again for more news.
Summer Hibernation
So the S30 has not been driven in a while (a month or so) due to transmission problems (throw out bearing going out) and also a few things here n there. Lately I've been just daily driving the Civic, but it's not my car so I am planning on purchasing a Rb20det (Nissan Skyline R32 engine). Many have asked why? well the reason behind this is that this motor is relatively a good bang for the buck and all I could afford for now. One of my good friend is also running this motor and is producing a decent amount of power though there are some engine issues but doesn't every motor? So keep tuning in for more updates and the install on this swap.
Hibernating
Took it out this weekend, with Mohit @ San Jose Mercury News car show (stay tuned for pics).
This is the motor (RB20det from R32)
Recent pictures of the car taken @ Aisha Garage, where I just got the Bride Zeta 2 seat.

Perfect for Photo Junkies.
Came through this amazing coin dumper/piggy bank.
I think this is a really cool product for the price and looks good on the table too, I guess another item that will look good next to your camera lens coffee cup.

Love for the Wagon
Digging through 7tune, I came through a post about this vehicle. I have never been a fan of the newer wagons in the market but the Nostalgic Wagon's always take me away. I have never seen a Hakosuka wagon before because I was too busy only looking up awesome Datsun 610 wagon's around the net. Well, here is a very beautiful Hakosuka picture I randomly came across online.

Top Gear (UK) - Proud Fan
As we all have taken a strong liking towards Top Gear, United Kingdom program, sometimes we just cant face the rumors going around saying that the Top Gear might end after season 17. Jeremy Clarkson's Humor, James May's Classiness and Richard Hammond's Style has won all of us over throughout these wonderful years. I can watch re-run after re-run of the episodes on BBC network and they never get old, but that feeling "that we will not see these guys presenting again" is a bummer. I hope these guys carry it on to the next generation, who will be presenting after or themselves soldiering on making new episodes. Well anyways,Cheers to all the Fans who have taken a liking to this show.. Here is a picture taken at the Top Gear Art Gallery Show from Season 14.
- This was Jeremy Clarkson's work, by spraying the car with glow in the black light liquid and having a driver take it around the track while the liquid wraps around the Red Bull car. Enjoy.

Art, finding a way on cars. Nothing new... is it?
The whole art car culture is progressing pretty quickly. Starting with Japanese Automobiles with crazy amount of Vinyl's around them to slowly enhancing and inspiring artists to display/promote their art through painting it right on the cars. Here are a few works of artists on these German vehicles. I hope to see more of this Car/Art theme in the near future with different manufactures and artists. Cheers.
I seem to have a liking towards this Bimmer.
Perhaps another Bimmer as an art car.
The only other decent art car by a different manufacturer, that I found was this Audi S4.
